Locally Sourced Apple Brandy

In the late 1700s, the abundance of apples provided American colonists an affordable and convenient resource to produced hard ciders and brandy. These libations became increasingly popular as an alternative to other alcoholic beverage such as beer and wine.
Our apple brandy is produced in the same tradition. Made with a blend of McIntosh, Macoun, Cortland, Autumn Crisp and other varietals, the spirit is double distilled and aged for at least 36 months in new American oak barrels and finished in French oak.
The result is a spirit with a buttery apple aroma along with a hint of caramel. It is luscious and full bodied on the palate, with mild wood spices and bitter sweet apple on the back end.
Liberty Tree New England Apple Brandy is best served straight up or on the rocks and makes a fantastic Old Fashioned cocktail.
